Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park

Located near Quesnel, BC, Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park is open from May 15 to September 30. You are sure to enjoy its three beautiful beaches, large picnic area, and outstanding fishing. Stroll along the 2 km nature trail leading to a large beaver pond. In the winter, some of the trails are transformed into nearly 10 km of cross-country ski trails.

Lowhee Campground

Lowhee Campground can be found in Barkerville, BC. This private and peaceful setting has 47 different campsites available for reservation and 33 others that are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. This beautiful location is part of the 1,100-hectare property that makes up Barkerville Historic Town & Park.

Glacier View

Located in Smithers, BC, Glacier View offers RV camping as well as rental cabins, most of which are pet-friendly. The quaint cabins are decorated in various themes for a delightful vacation experience. The RV area offers several back-in and pull-through sites to park your vehicle during your stay. Reservations must be made for both cabin and RV camping.

Tyhee Lake Provincial Park

Tyhee Lake Provincial Park is situated in the beautiful Bulkley River Valley just 45 minutes from Houston. To the west are the Telkwa and Bulkley Ranges of the Hazelton Mountains and to the east is the Babine Range of the Skeena Mountains.

Back from the 200 m sandy beachfront on Tyhee Lake is a forest consisting primarily of trembling aspen. These trees are second-growth, replacing the original cover that was previously destroyed by fire.

Visitors may enjoy hiking, walking, swimming, picnicking, and nature viewing. Ice fishing and cross-country skiing are popular activities in the winter.

Coopdog’s Fishing Lodge

If you are interested in a fishing getaway, look no further than Coopdog’s Fishing Lodge in Granisle, BC. There are 31 RV hookup sites as well as three cabins that can be rented. There is also a marina with a boat launch and docking for about 25 boats. Fish for salmon, rainbow trout, whitefish, and more on beautiful Babine Lake, one of the largest lakes in BC.

West Lake Provincial Park & West Lake Campground & RV Park

West Lake is a day-use park where visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking and, in the winter, cross-country skiing and tobogganing. A boater’s beach complete with picnic tables, pit toilets, and fire pits has been developed for boaters and water skiers. A swimming area is sectioned off. There is a volleyball net and horseshoe pit in the main day-use area. A group picnic site (capacity 100) with pit toilets and a picnic shelter with a wood stove, horseshoe pits, a fire circle, and a playfield is available.

The special features of this park include a beach, wildlife viewing, water sports, and hiking.

West Lake Campground is a family-owned Campground in Prince George. They offer larger sites with full services, and for guests that just want a bit more privacy, they offer some non-serviced sites great for tents or small trailers. Every site has a picnic table and a fire pit available for your camping experience. They are only a 1-mile walk to West Lake Provincial Day Park. At West Lake Campground we want to make your family’s camping vacation as relaxing and pleasant as possible.
